When it comes to little envelopes, nobody does it better than we do. Every once in a while somebody comes along and wants something even smaller. We don't have a clue as to how such sub-micron sizes could even be made, but our own goal is 7/8" x 7/8".

No seal gum and flaps extended are the rule down in Lilliputia. We continue to work on lowering the size limit for seal gum, but for now, 1-1/4"x 1-13/16" open side style is the minimum if you want the flap to stick down. The adhesive is remoistenable gum, and latex seal is not available.

Envelopes that open on the short dimension we call open ends, in contrast to those which open on the long dimension which are called open sides. The chart below list all the miniature sizes for which we have cutting dies.

Paper: the big seller is 24 sub white wove, so that is what we use for most of our inventory items. If you want a different grade, and it has similar folding characteristics to envelope paper, the chances are we can fold it. We do a lot of business with paper merchants, so if it's a sheet they carry we can get it. You probably noticed that we have 2 sizes in Tyvek®.

If we do not have the die for the exact size you need, the cost for a new one is approximately $1,000 (a flat charge that doesn't ever repeat).

Delivery time for non-stocked sizes ranges from one week to four weeks.

Weight, Freight and Export: Because these small sizes weigh as little as 1 pound per thousand envelopes, it is possible to ship them economically across the entire country as well as overseas. So if you want envelopes that won't mind taking a hike, these are the ones!
